When buying a safe:

• When looking at safes for fire protection it is important to know that no safe is fire proof. Safes only have a fire resistance. Data media corrupts at a lower temperature than paper and because of this fire safes are not suitable for data protection.

• If you buy an underfloor safe before placing items into it always place them in a plastic bag to protect from moisture
